OMOP Concept Search API
Look up Singapore OMOP concepts from your own systems
The OMOP Concept Search API gives your mapping and ETL pipelines direct access to Singapore's harmonised OMOP vocabulary. It searches the same concept index as OMOP Concepts Search, so your scripts and your team see the same results.
What you can do
Search concepts
Find concepts by name, description, local variable name or ID, and narrow by domain or vocabulary.
Resolve an ID
Look up a concept you already hold by its exact concept ID.
Build it into your workflow
Call it from Python, R or any language that can make a web request and get results back as JSON.
Is it right for you?
Use the API if:
you have many variables to map, or want concept lookups built into a data pipeline.
Use OMOP Concepts Search if
you are mapping a handful of variables by hand.
How to get started
Be a TRUST Member
Existing TRUST Members have aaccess to the OMOP catalogue
Register as a TRUST MemberGenerate an API key
In the Members' Portal, go to Account > API keys and choose OMOP Concept Search
